392nd Bomb Group

Target: NoBall Marquise - 10 April 1944 - Mission #63

This mission was briefed for a military installation with take-offs for (9) aircraft commencing at 0800 hours. Bombing loading was 100# GP weapons with a total of (48) being released over a weather obscured target. Great difficulty in assembly over England was again experienced because of weather which also had delayed take-offs. A total of (7) aircraft managed to reach the target area with (5) bombing results being poor. Enemy fighters were nil and AA fire was light and inaccurate. Mission aircraft returned to base around noon without losses or battle damage.
