RESEARCH QUESTIONS

Since the website has been placed in service in March of 1999 we have had many requests from relatives looking for information on their loved ones who served in WWII. While we have found many resources, we are not able to completely research all of the requests we receive.

In this section of the website, we are going to share with you all of the resources that we are familar with to assist you in your own search.

Looking for a person who served in the 392nd at Wendling?

Because of the extensive amount of data we have collected on the 392nd Bomb Group and have posted on this site, we would suggest that you start with our search engine at the 392nd Research link. This will enable you to search quickly though the all of the 285 missions, MACRs, casuality listings, burials, etc. If there is a match, a list of link(s) will be shown. Click on a link and then when that link is loaded, do a control F and search that link page for the name.

If you are unable to find any information there, then fill out the form on the 392nd research link on the left. If we have any other information available, we will share that with you.
