| 5 December 1944 | Mission #209 | Target: Munster |
The Group was committed to put up (9) bombers to fly high right off the 44th Bomb Group on this mission for the marshalling yards. Briefings were held between 0345-0600 hours and at 0735, all bombers began take-off. At 1019 hours, all ships were over the target releasing (108) 500 pounders on a GH ship lead with results not being observed because of 10/10ths clouds. There were no fighters or flak. Friendly fighter support was good. All crews were back on the ground safely around 1250 hours.
