 Liberators Hit A Triple-- In a three pronged attack on Friedrichshafen

U.S. Eight Air Force Liberators blasted the Zahnradfabrik Works during Saturdays's 18 March 44 operations. The Zahnradfabrik A.G. Works, one of the largest gear cutting factories in the world is left burning with half of the west end of the plant hit by incendiaries and high explosives. U.S. 8th Air Force Liberators blasted the Manzell Dornier Aircraft Plant during Saturday's March 18th operations. The Manzell Dornier Factory, making bombers and night fighters, received direct hits on the largest three story building plus damage to the assembly shop, the joinery and sheet metal shops.
